Man shot in the groin in East Baltimore Wednesday evening

BALTIMORE — Baltimore Police said a man was shot and injured Wednesday on the east side.

According to the department, officers were called to investigating just before 6:00 p.m. in the 2500 block of East Monument Street.

When they arrived, officers found a man suffering from a shooting injury in his groin.

He was taken to the hospital and his condition is unknown at this time.
