BALTIMORE — Baltimore Police are investigating the first shooting of June, which occurred near Charles Village.
At, 2:53 a.m., a ShotSpotter alert alarmed officers of a shooting in the 2600 block of Barclay Street. After arriving, officers were able to locate the crime scene, but no victim was found.
Moments later, police were notified about a walk-in shooting victim at an area hospital. At the location, they found a 33-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to the hip.
The victim told police that he was shot while on Barclay Street. Police said he was highly intoxicated and uncooperative with investigators.
