The Maryland SPCA's March for the Animals is no more. It is now being called the Maryland SPCA Festival for the Animals.
The group teamed up with the Port Covington Development Team and the event will now be held at Port Covington in South Baltimore. It's also later than normal this year taking place on Saturday, May 5.
The event will be presented by M&T Bank and will feature a walk-a-thon and music celebration bringing pet lovers, pets and music enthusiasts together for a day of recreation, entertainment and community involvement.
Port Covington offers a walking path along the water, lots of green space for your pet, and plenty of free parking for attendees.
This is the Maryland SPCA's biggest fundraiser of the year.
