BALTIMORE — Water bills, which have yet to be issued following Baltimore's ransomware attack three months ago, could go out early next month.

Mayor Jack Young said customers should be expecting a larger bill.

"People should have put money on the side, just like I have done," said Mayor Young.

Mayor Young said that during those months, the system was able to accurately record water usage, the city just wasn't able to issue bills.

The bills will cover May, June and July.
