BALTIMORE — Earlier today the LGBTQ+ community protested in downtown Baltimore.

They chanted 'black trans lives matter.' Organizers said they want justice for Tony McDade, a black trans person that was killed by police in Florida this week.

They held a candle light vigil and marched through downtown.

The group Baltimore Safe Haven—a Baltimore nonprofit that provides food, shelter, job and mental health for members of the LGBTQ+ community organized the protest.
