BALTIMORE — Student athletes at Mercy High School have a new complex.
The bell game at Sisters of Mercy Athletic Complex opened on Friday just in time for the school's soccer match against Maryvale Preparatory School. It costs $4.3 million and features two fields, LED lights and a new score board.
"The new field is going to promote a lot of school spirit really rile people up and keep the energy and promote confidence for our players and promote people coming our and supporting our teams," said Christy Martin, a Mercy High School student.
The complex is the home of Mercy's soccer, lacrosse, softball and field hockey teams.
The track and field team will practice in the facility and the youth soccer club, will also use the facility for practices and games.
