BALTIMORE — Nearly a week after having to cancel fall sports over growing COVID-19 concerns, Morgan State University on Tuesday also decided to postpone all in-person Homecoming 2020 activities scheduled for the week of October 11.
Impacted events include the homecoming concert, pep rally, parade, game day campus activities and MSU Foundation Gala. The Spring Commencement had been pushed back to homecoming week as well, but will again have to be postponed.
Morgan is one of several local universities planning a hybrid model of reopening in the fall, where students attends some classes in-person and others virtually.
