Most streets reopened following water main break

Most Streets have reopened following a major water main break Wednesday afternoon.

The Baltimore Department of Public Works says they shut the water off after a broken eight-inch main caused minor flooding.

Because of the break, Saratoga and Pleasant Streets were closed between Guilford & Calvert Streets, along with the 300 block of Davis St. All with exception to the 300 block of Davis have reopened.

Officials say an apartment building in the area has been affected by the flooding, and the hospital in the area did not flood.

Officials do expect the break to be repaired on Wednesday.
