"Witnesses rode by and heard Brianna screaming help me he’s going to kill me," Robin Henninger-Burkhart told WMAR 2 News.

A mother’s nightmare realized.

"He pushed her out in front of a moving vehicle."

Henninger-Burkhart relives the worst day of her life.

"I will never see my beautiful daughter again, ever again, she was 26 years old."

The Pocono Mountain Regional told her her daughter, Brianna Burkhart, was killed by her boyfriend while they were in Pennsylvania.

"My daughter died from extensive damage, all for nothing."

Police say Burkhart was involved in a domestic dispute with her boyfriend of two months, Zachary Collett. Both from Cockeysville.

"Brianna was so full of life.  She was intelligent she had a heart of gold."

Charging documents say the couple had been drinking.  They were driving in a car when they started fighting.  They got out and continued to argue when police say Collett shoved Burkhart into the roadway where she was hit and killed by a car driven by an 18-year-old driver.

"She was just full of life and he took her from us. My daughter deserves the justice that God should give her, she lost her life for no reason."

For the family left behind, the pain of losing Brianna will never go away.

"I will never live each day without thinking of you and I miss you terribly."

Burkhart told WMAR 2 News she wants to become an advocate for domestic violence victims.

Collett faces several charges including involuntary manslaughter, reckless endangerment, and assault.

The driver who hit Burkhart faces no charges.
