Multiple shootings in the city as three teens were shot, one dead on the Eastside

BALTIMORE — Baltimore Police are investigating multiple shootings in the city, leaving a teen dead and others injured.

On the city's Westside, officers responded to a shooting in the 1300 block of West North Avenue, Wednesday night. When they arrived, officers found two shooting victims, a 22-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the ankle and a 21-year-old woman suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper thigh.

Police said the woman's injuries were so sever, they quickly applied a tourniquet to her thigh, until medics arrived. The two victims were taken to an area hospital, where the woman's condition was upgraded from critical to stable condition.

After midnight in East Baltimore, officers arrived to the scene of a shooting in the 1000 block of East Biddle Street. There, they found three teens with gunshot wounds.

Officers said a 17-year-old male was suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest, an 18-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg, and an another 18-year-old male was suffering from a gunshot wound to the arm.

When medics arrived, they transported the three teens to an area hospital. Medial personal later pronounced the 17-year-old deceased.

On May 22, police identified the victim as Terrell Patterson, revising his age to 18.
