Officers and community organizations deliver toys to children

Posted

Officers alongside community organizations delivered thousands of toys to children for the 19th annual Kindertime Toy Drive.

The Kindertime Toy Drive has delivered more than 100,000 toys in almost 20 years. During the holiday season, toys are collected at Walmart stores and delivered to organizations and charities around Baltimore.

The Baltimore City Sheriffs’ Department, State Police, Baltimore County Fire Department and various other community organizations went to various locations and charities in Baltimore in a huge caravan with big tractor trailers in tow carrying thousands of toys to deliver to children.

More than 100 vehicles were lined up, sirens flashing, horns blaring and all to put a smile on a child’s face for the holidays.
