Officers were stopped and notified about a man shot in Southeast Baltimore; he later died at the hospital

BALTIMORE — Baltimore Police are investigating two separate shootings that injured one and killed another on the city's Eastside.

Just after midnight, officers responded to a shooting in the 2900 block of The Alameda. There, they found a 28-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to the thigh.

At 1:46 a.m., police said officers were flagged down by a concerned citizen about an unresponsive man laying on the sidewalk in the 1000 block of Dundalk Avenue. When officers arrived, they found 20-year-old Tisa Blount suffering from gunshot wounds.

The victim was taken to Johns Hopkins Bayview Hospital where medical personnel pronounced him dead.
