One dead, another injured in separate shootings on the east side

BALTIMORE — Baltimore Police are investigating two separate shootings, one that killed a man on the east side.

8:20 p.m.

Officers were called to the 1000 block of North Kenwood Avenue for reports of a shooting.

When they arrived, police found an unresponsive man, suffering from gunshot wounds to the body.

He was taken to the hospital where he later died.

8:32 p.m.

Police responded to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim.

There, they found a 36-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg.

He is listed in stable condition.

Investigators learned that the man was shot while in the 3700 block of Ravenwood Avenue by an unidentified suspect.
