The Baltimore Police Department released video of a person of interest in a homicide that happened on May 27, 2016.

Latrina Ashburne was shot and killed outside her home in the 2900 block of Rosalind Avenue in North Baltimore. She was getting into her car when she was shot. She later died at the hospital.

This video was taken on the morning of the shooting at Nurton Avenue and Woodland Avenue just a few blocks from where Ashburne was killed.

Ashburne was a teacher's aide in Baltimore City Public Schools and an associate pastor.

Davon Carter is charged in her murder. Carter was indicted in December 2017. The indictment says he killed Ashburne with intent to retaliate against a witness and to prevent the attendance and testimony of a person.

Ashburne was not the intended target.
