Person reportedly hit by MTA train at Baltimore Penn-North station

BALTIMORE — A man who was hit by a train Monday morning in the city has non-life threatening injuries, according to the Maryland Department of Transportation.

Officials say shortly before 9 a.m., a man fell from the platform area at the Penn-North Station at 1601 W. North Ave. They say the man was hit while he was climbing back onto the platform.

The man was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Around 10 a.m., the Metro SubwayLink was back in service.

The MDOT MTA Police are investigating
