BALTIMORE (WMAR) — A pickup truck driver is dead after rear ending an MTA bus and striking a light pole Monday evening.
Baltimore Police say the bus was letting off a passenger in the 3100 block of Washington Boulevard, when a Ford F-250 crashed into the back of the bus, and then hit a light pole.
The driver of the F-250, 40-year-old Sven James Kirtz died at an area hospital.
Two passengers and the bus driver were taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash, and haven't yet determined who was at fault.
