Police arrest and charge suspect in connection to September 4 shooting

BALTIMORE — Police have arrested and charged a 20-year old man in connection with a shooting that happened in North Baltimore on September 4.

On that day, at 4:45 p.m., officers were called to the 3000 block of Oakford Avenue for a report of a shooting. Officers arrived to find two men with gunshot wounds to their bodies. Both victims were transported to hospitals for treatment.

However, during the course of their investigation, detectives were able to identify Dreqwon Walker as the suspect in this case. An arrest warrant was issued charging Walker with attempted murder.

On Wednesday, Walker was arrested. He was found inside of a hotel in the 200 block of W. Saratoga Street.

Walker was transported to the Central Booking and Intake Facility to be processed.
