Police identified and arrested a suspect connected to a January shooting in Northeast Baltimore

BALTIMORE (WMAR) — Baltimore police arrested a suspect they believe to be connected to shooting earlier in the year.

On April 4, 2019, Warrant Task Force members arrested 29-year-old Charles Faulkner at his home in the 5600 block of Frankford Avenue, without incident. Faulkner has been charged with 1st Degree Attempted Murder of a man In January.

On January 3, 2019, police responded to a shooting in the 5300 block of Frankford Avenue, where they found a 22-year-old man was shot in the face and back. Officials said the victim was listed in critical condition; however, he would recover.

Since, detectives continued the investigation and interview several witnesses, before identifying Faulkner and obtaining an arrest warrant.

Faulkner was taken to Central Booking where he remains without bail.
