BALTIMORE — Police are investigating after a man was shot in Northeast Baltimore.

On Thursday at about 1:30 P.M., officers responded to the 3500 block of Elmley Avenue for a shooting.

When officers arrived, they found a 22 year-old man who was in his right elbow. The victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment.

Northeast District shooting detectives are investigating the incident.

Witnesses reported seeing an unknown man shoot the victim. It is believe the suspect got into a silver sedan that was last seen speeding on Edison Highway.
