BALTIMORE — Baltimore Police are investigating human remains that was found Saturday morning in Southwest Baltimore.
The department said, at 11:10 a.m. a woman discovered a body, wrapped up in plastic and blankets in the rear of the 2300 block of Hollins Street.
According to police, detectives leading the investigation did not know if the body was that of a man or woman. Investigators said gender will be determined when the wrapping has been removed and the autopsy is performed.
Homicide detectives are investigating this as a suspicious death.
