Traffic was impacted Friday along North Avenue in Baltimore, and it had nothing to do with an accident or construction. It was from a bull.
The bull escaped from a Baltimore slaughterhouse Friday morning. The owner of George Ruppersberger and Sons Wholesale Beef Veal and Lamb said the bull jumped two fences and a police car to escape.

An increasingly aggressive bull escaped from a nearby slaughterhouse and officers made numerous attempts to trap it. The bull was shot by officers and the Force Investigation Team is handling the investigation. More information will be made available as soon as possible.
Baltimore City police spokeswoman Sgt. Sarah Connolly said the bull was shot shortly around 10:15 a.m. at the intersection of Charles and Biddle streets along Mount Vernon.
Connolly said the animal no longer poses a threat and no injuries were reported. Police believe it escaped from a slaughterhouse in west Baltimore.
Connolly says police received calls from business owners concerned about the animal running loose on the streets. The neighborhood is home to numerous bars, restaurants and shops.
