Cathedral Street between Mt. Royal Avenue and Preston Street in Baltimore will be closed Aug. 11 to Sept. 7, the Baltimore City Department of Transportation said Friday.
The closure is weather permitting so crews can do roadwork. Access to local garages will remain open, but drivers will need to follow a detour to enter the parking structures.
Traffic on the street will be detoured east to Mt. Royal Avenue, south to Maryland Avenue, west to Preston Street, then back to Cathedral Street.
