BALTIMORE — As local protests are expected to continue related to the death of George Floyd in Minnesota, Baltimore City's Department of Transportation has closed a portion of E. Fayette Street.

All vehicular traffic between Gay and Holliday Streets will be detoured. No drivers will be allowed to turn westbound onto E. Fayette from President Street or southbound I-83.

It's unclear how long the closures will last.
