BALTIMORE — A portion of Eastern Avenue will close this weekend for the dismantling of a tower crane.
The Baltimore City Department of Transportation said Eastern Avenue will be closed to through traffic between President Street and Central Avenue, weather permitting, with detours and parking restrictions in effect starting at 12 a.m. on Saturday.
It will remain closed until 6:00 p.m. on Sunday.
They say signs will be posted in the area to alert drivers of the closure and detour routes will be posted. Access to local restaurants and businesses will be maintained during these times.
Drivers traveling in the area should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
