A portion of westbound Northern Parkway will close overnight Thursday for repairs, the Baltimore City Department of Transportation announced.
The heavily-trafficked city thoroughfare will be closed from 9 a.m. Thursday (Nov. 29) until about 5 a.m. Friday (Nov. 30) between Cylburn Avenue in the Coldspring neighborhood and Greenspring Avenue in Levindale. The exit ramps to westbound Northern Parkway from I-83/Jones Falls Expressway will remain open, the DOT said.
Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes during the closure. Travelers heading west on Northern Parkway will be detoured south/west onto Cylburn Avenue, the north onto Greenspring Avenue, then west back onto westbound Northern Parkway.
