BALTIMORE — Early Sunday morning, President Donald Trump returned to Twitter to defend his series of tweets that were directed at U.S. Representative Elijah Cummings.
RELATED: President Trump calls Rep. Elijah Cummings' Baltimore district "the Worst in the USA"
President Trump said Saturday morning, in one of his tweets, that Rep. Cummings' district "is a disgusting, rat and rodent infested mess" and that "no human being would want to live there."
However, since publishing those tweets, Trump has been accused of being racist.
On Sunday, he returned to defend those statements by tweeting that "there is nothing wrong with bringing out the very obvious fact that Congressman Elijah Cummings has done a very poor job for his district and the City of Baltimore."
Someone please explain to Nancy Pelosi, who was recently called racist by those in her own party, that there is nothing wrong with bringing out the very obvious fact that Congressman Elijah Cummings has done a very poor job for his district and the City of Baltimore. Just take...

He also accused the Democrats of always playing the Race Card.
....a look, the facts speak far louder than words! The Democrats always play the Race Card, when in fact they have done so little for our Nation’s great African American people. Now, lowest unemployment in U.S. history, and only getting better. Elijah Cummings has failed badly!

There is nothing racist in stating plainly what most people already know, that Elijah Cummings has done a terrible job for the people of his district, and of Baltimore itself. Dems always play the race card when they are unable to win with facts. Shame!
