BALTIMORE — A group says a protest at Harbor East was about Atlas Restaurant Group's reoccurring issues around race.
It started shortly after five p.m.
The organizer says they want the company to abolish dress code at all restaurants nationwide and acknowledge the design and enforcement of the code is racist.
The group says they also would like to see Atlas reach out to the community to host charity events at properties and they want the company to overhaul training and hiring of staff and executives to improve the experience of people of color and all oppressed groups.
