BALTIMORE — A rally took place earlier on Wednesday in Baltimore's McKeldin Square to protest the Senate's decision to acquit President Trump.

Protestors also spoke out about the vote against new witnesses during the impeachment trial. Those at the rally say they're now demanding accountability, a fair general election in November and reform to end political corruption.

"We didn’t get to hear the truth ever, and the truth will come out, but sadly it will be too late but the fact that they didn’t have witnesses was just an abomination of justice," said protestor Virginia Byrnes.

There were about 50 people at the rally.
