BALTIMORE — More than 50 protesters took the streets to protest police brutality and the death of Minnesota man George Floyd Friday night.

They marched throughout downtown for three hours and counting, shutting down several streets and intersections in the process.

The march itself was mostly peaceful, with tense moments between officers and protesters. Police allowed those protesting to peacefully protest blocking streets as they moved through downtown.

As of 11 p.m. on Friday, those protesting were told to disperse, but as of publication, they have not dispersed yet.
