BALTIMORE — This family has been providing meals to our hardworking healthcare workers and supporting local businesses at the same time.

Travis Sachse and his father Steve started "Hungry Helpers" and have been raising money to buy meals from restaurants and bring them to hospitals.

They partnered with Union Baptist Headstart to provide meals to kids in need.

"Fortunately, there were lines of people giving food to healthcare workers so we thought we would switch it up to see if there were other groups we could help. I had an acquaintance that knew rev. Hathaway at the Headstart program, so he connected me with amil who told us about this food program."

They donated $2,000 to the program which will provide food for the program for two-and-a-half weeks.
