BALTIMORE — There was Black father's rally tonight at Rawlings Conservatory, they called it the father's Friday kick back!

Organizers are hopeful genuine connections were made that will continue to grow.

"There are concerned Black men in Baltimore City. There are fathers that are doing their jobs as fathers. But most importantly there's a community, there's a collective that are supporting each others because the best fathers and best men we have other men that help hold us accountable. So as much as it is about shifting that narrative, it's also about strengthening what's happening.

At the end of the event, the fathers all took a pledge to continue to affirm and uplift each other.
