BALTIMORE (WMAR) — Beginning Monday students at three different Baltimore City elementary/middle schools will have classes in brand new buildings.

On Saturday a ribbon cutting was held to celebrate the opening of the new Bay-Brook, Calvin M. Rodwell, and John Ruhrah Elementary/Middle Schools.

The new buildings are located at 4301 10th Street, 3501 Hillsdale Road, and 701 Rappolla Street respectively.

Also on Saturday, student family members and the community were able to tour each building during an open house portion of the event.

The new buildings were constructed as part of the 21st Century School Buildings Program.
