BALTIMORE — The Baltimore City Department of Transportation said Hanover Street from Pratt Street to Lombard Street is closed due to a water main break.

Officials said a contractor is heading to the area to investigate the water main.

As of 11 on Monday night, Hanover is closed from Pratt to Lombard and two lanes are also closed on Pratt from Sharp to Charles Streets.

As of now, cars driven by staff members of the Federal Court tomorrow will be allowed to enter the garage off Hanover Street via Lombard Street, past a DPW Environmental Police checkpoint. No access for public vehicles.

There is no word on when the main will be fixed or when roads will be opened back up.
