BALTIMORE — Traffic in and out of Little Italy won't be easy this weekend.

There will be lane closures while crews remove the crane from the now closed Della Norte restaurant.

Eastern Avenue will be closed to through traffic between President Street and Central Avenue starting at midnight Saturday through 6 p.m. Sunday and some business owners are not happy.

"We got the notice a couple of days ago, so we know that they're going to shut it down entire road that will definitely hurt our business," said Juniet Ozturk from Angeli's Pizzeria.

Part of the concern for restaurant owners is the late notice.

Some businesses are working with city leaders to get a memorandum of understanding created so business owners will get better notifications next time.

The city is also trying to set up a valet zone to make it easier for restaurant goers to drop off their cars during the closure.
