BALTIMORE — Baltimore Police are investigating two separate shootings on the city's Westside Friday night.

At 9:50 p.m., officers were called to investigate a shooting in the 400 block of Cummings Court of the McCulloh Homes. There, they found a 26-year-old female suffering from a gunshot wound to the abdomen.

She was taken to an area hospital where she was immediately taken into surgery.

An hour later, officers arrived to the scene of a shooting in the 2700 block of West Cold Spring Lane. At the location, they found a 37-year-old male, inside of a vehicle, suffering from gunshot wounds to leg and lower back.

Investigators believe the man cut off the suspect at the intersection of Reisterstown Road and Park Heights Avenue. That's when both drivers stopped at a red light, words were exchanged, then the suspect began shooting at the victim’s vehicle, striking him several times.

Citywide Shooting detectives are asking anyone with information to contact them at 410-396-2221 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7lockup.
