BALTIMORE — So many people rely on the Maryland Food Bank for their meals and even more are doing during these tough times.
Royal Farms wants to make sure they have enough food to help those families out.
They donated a trailer full of food with things like meat, orange juice, bread, milk and more.
"The needs are really important our donated volumes are down across the board forcing us to go out and buy more food. That comes at a cost.”
Royal Farms partnered with their food service vendors and suppliers to make the donation.
The Maryland Food Bank is also encouraging anyone who wants to volunteer to come help, they say they have safety measures placed and they do practice social distancing when working.
