A portion of Holabird Avenue in eastern Baltimore will remained closed until mid-September so utilities can be relocated, the Maryland Department of Transportation said.
Between Newkirk and Ponca Streets, Holabird Avenue will be closed 24 hours a day until the project is completed.
Motorists heading east will be detoured onto Newkirk Street, then to Boston Street, then to Ponca Street. Westbound motorists will be sent from Ponca Street, to Boston Street, to Newkirk Street.
Local access to businesses will be permitted for the closed section of Holabird Avenue.
