A Timonium sidewalk sale will benefit the victims of domestic violence, the House of Ruth Maryland announced.
The 28th annual Sidewalk Sale by BB&T takes place Wednesday, Sept. 5 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Clearing House Ltd., 200 W. Padonia Road. The tented sale showcases household furnishings, artwork, jewelry and more. The event is rain or shine.
Revenue generated by the sale goes to the House or Ruth Maryland, a domestic abuse center in Baltimore founded in 1977. The organization provides shelter, a 24-hour hotline, counseling, outreach, training and legal services to victims in the hopes they can "rebuild their lives safely and free of fear," the organization says.
