Tons of snow is piling up at two locations in Baltimore City – the parking lots outside M&T Bank Stadium and Pimlico.
At the stadium, dozens of trucks deliver full loads of snow, while more construction equipment maintains the huge pile. In some places it is at least 30 feet high, and it extends more than a half mile through the parking lots.
City officials say 72,000 cubic feet of snow are arriving every day.
At Pimlico, the city has brought in a snow-melting machine; a second machine will arrive at M&T Bank Stadium later this week.
Both of them will be able to melt 60 tons of snow every hour.
