Some I-95 ramps in Baltimore to be closed temporarily for construction

If you are driving around Baltimore this weekend, you may want to be aware of some closures on I-95. 

The following exits will be temporarily closed to traffic due to annual facility inspections:

  • The ramp from southbound I-95 to northbound I-395 (Exit 53) will be closed Saturday from 6 to 10 a.m. The detour will direct motorists to Caton Avenue (Exit 50), to northbound I-95, to northbound I-395 (Exit 53).  
  • The ramp from northbound MD 295 (Russell Street) to northbound I-95 will be closed Saturday from 7 a.m. to noon.  The detour will direct motorists to Russell Street, to Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard, to southbound I-395, to northbound I-95.    
  • The ramp from Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard to Lee Street will be closed from on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 pm. The detour will direct motorists to West Pratt Street, to Howard Street, to Lee Street.  
  • The ramp from northbound I-95 to Russell Street (Exit 52) will be closed on Sunday from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. The detour will direct motorists to northbound I-395 (Exit 53), to Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard, to Lee Street, to Russell Street.  
  • The ramp from southbound Russell Street to southbound I-95 will be closed on Sunday from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. The detour will direct motorists to southbound MD 295 (Russell Street), to I-695, to southbound I-95.   
  • The ramp from northbound Russell Street to southbound I-395 will be closed on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The detour will direct motorists to Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard, to Pratt Street, to Howard Street, to southbound I-395.
