BALTIMORE — A big donation was made to Mount Washington Pediatric Hospital on Wednesday.
Spirit Halloween gave a check for nearly $49,000 for the hospital's Child Life and Therapeutic Rec. Department.
This isn't the first time Spirit Halloween has done this.
"We have built an adaptive basketball court. We have redone our activities room with spirit Halloween money in the past and updated different programs," said Kim Adkins, Senior Child Life Specialist at Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital.
In addition to raising funds for the hospital every year, Spirit Halloween also holds a party for the kids at the hospital.
Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital cares for children with serious, chronic or complex medical needs.
