GREEKTOWN, Md. — If you can’t make the trip to Mykonos this summer, you can go to the St. Nicholas Greek Folk Festival. It kicked off in Baltimore on Thursday.
All of the food is made by the women of the St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church.
"We get together as a community to not only raise money for our church, but also to share our traditions, our culture, with this neighborhood that's always so supportive of our church," said Penny Alafassos, festival organizer.
The festival is held at Greek Town Square near Ponca Street and is from noon to 11 p.m. through Sunday.
