BALTIMORE — Baltimore Police have identified the victim and suspect in a deadly stabbing that took place inside a West Baltimore home on Monday.
Veronica Freeman, 47, was found stabbed inside her home in the 2000 block of Baker Street just after noon. She died at the scene.
Officers identified the suspect as 21-year-old Leah Harrison, who also lived at the home and was still on scene.
She was arrested and charged with first and second degree murder and assault.
Currently Harrison is at Central Booking awaiting to see a court commissioner.
It's unclear what led to the stabbing and if there is any relationship between Freeman and Harrison.
