BALTIMORE — The Elephant Restaurant in Mount Vernon will stay open.
In a Facebook post, the owners say they managed to avoid having the building auctioned off by filing for bankruptcy.
This allowed for what they are calling a 'total restructuring."
The building went up for sale in January and the restaurant was originally scheduled to close on March 23.
Now it will stay open for dinner Tuesdays-Saturdays from 5 p.m. - 10 p.m.
