BALTIMORE — Hundreds of families in Baltimore don't need to worry about gifts for the holidays this year.

Toys for Tots gifts were distributed on Saturday. Families showed up at the Police Department's Community and Youth Services building this weekend to pick up their gifts.

"It's a gratitude just happy that they're able to provide for their children because they're not able to and it's honestly thanks to the community for donating. All these toys are donated from different charities, churches, homes that are fortunate enough to provide for other families that don’t have." said Officer Carmichael.

The Baltimore Police Department teamed up with the United states marines for the gift giveaway.
