Traffic stop leads to loaded gun arrest in Northeast Baltimore

BALTIMORE — A traffic stop led to the arrest of a 20-year-old on Saturday in Northeast Baltimore.

On Saturday, around 11:00 a.m., officers stopped a car in the 3400 block of Chesterfield Avenue.

The stopped vehicle was black Dodge Charger bearing fake Pennsylvania tags.

As a result of the stop, officers recovered a loaded .45 cal handgun.

A 20-year-old man, was arrested and charged accordingly and his vehicle was towed.

Baltimore City Police say to contact them if you know of anyone who is illegally possessing a firearm.
