The turtle at the Maryland Zoo who needed a wheelchair made of Legos to help get around no longer needs it.

Zoo officials say the turtle is getting ready for brumation, similar to hibernation.

The turtle was dealing with a broken shell.

Keepers at the zoo have created its own habitat for the turtle and will check on him over the next few months. It's filled with mulch and leaves to mimic the turtle's habitat.

Once the turtle has healed completely, he will be released back into the wild.
