Two injured in Friday morning Baltimore City shootings

BALTIMORE — Baltimore Police say two men were injured after being shot in separate shootings Friday morning.

The first happened at around 9:38 a.m., when an officer was approached by a man with a gunshot wound to his foot. The victim was transported to a hospital for treatment.

Investigators believe that he was in the 1600 block of W. North Avenue when he was shot.

The second shooting happened at a little before 10:25 a.m., when officers were called to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim. Officers arrived to the hospital to find a 26-year-old man being treated for a gunshot wound to his arm.

Investigators believe the victim was in the area of Jonquil and W. Northern Parkway when he was shot.
