Two males injured after separate Saturday night shootings on they city's east-side

BALTIMORE — Baltimore Police are investigating two Saturday night shootings on the city's east-side.

At 9:23 p.m., officers were patrolling in the area of the 2700 block of Hugo Avenue, when they heard gunshots. When officers arrived to the scene of the crime, they found a male victim with gunshot wounds to his body.

He was taken to an area hospital for treatment.

At 10:35 p.m., police responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the 1800 block of Hope Street. During their investigation, officers were unable to find a victim or suspects.

Moments later, officers were called to the 1900 block of Kennedy Avenue for a shooting. That's where officers found a 50-year-old man with a shooting injury to his foot.

He was also taken to an area hospital for treatment.

Investigators believe he was shot in the 1800 block of Hope Street.
