Two men murdered in separate shootings Thursday night in Baltimore

BALTIMORE — Baltimore Police are investigating two separate homicides Thursday evening.

5:42 p.m.
Officers responded to a Shotspotter alert in the 2400 block of East Lafayette Avenue. There, they searched the area and found a man in the 1700 block of North Montford Avenue, suffering from gunshot wounds.

He was taken to Johns Hopkins Hospital where he died shortly after arrival.

6:15 p.m.
Police were called to the scene of a shooting in the 1900 block of West Pratt Street. When they arrived, officers found a 24-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds.

He was taken to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center where he died shortly after arrival.
